I have one huge thing to express right now:
I'm so very glad that God never gives up on us. It doesn't matter what we do, how we act, what we say, what we don't do, etc. He continually pursues us and never stops loving us. That is a huge truth that I wish everyone could grasp. Going to sleep clinging to that tonight!
Hebrews 13:5
I'm a woman with aspirations and a deep love & passion for the city. My devotion lies with Jesus Christ, and I'd be honored to introduce you to Him. I like to both ask and answer questions. I'm in love with love and romance. Tigers and tulips make me happy. Use this blog to take a small peek inside my mind... it's not as scary as you'd think.

I'm home.
I am finally home from my Spring 2011 semester at UNCG. This year was a tough one. Apathy, life decisions, crazy relationships, and spiritual warfare... It's amazing that I did make it through!
I came home on Wednesday. My mom came up to take most of my stuff back home. Cole, Sarah, and Caroline all helped me move my stuff out. They're the best. I had to run over to each side of campus, trying to hug people goodbye and selling back books. Then I turned in some music folders at Lawndale Baptist, grabbed some grub, and hit the interstate. My parents and I went to Red Lobster that night. It was delicious!
Thursday, I spent all day lounging around, not doing much of anything. It was glorious.
Today, I had lunch with the lovely Mary at Moe's and coffee at Wired. We spent a good deal of the day together. I love her. She's one of my best friends, but she goes to Gardner-Webb so I don't get to see her/talk with her much. It was good being able to catch up, share our struggles, and share some laughs. After that, my parents and I headed to the Queen City to do some shopping. We finished with a late dinner, grabbed the cars, and headed home. We listened to some great music, 99.7... classic rock. Ohhhh, yeah!
I've thoroughly enjoyed being home. I haven't been home at all this past semester. That truly took a toll on me. I love college and being around everyone, but sometimes I just need an escape!
All too soon, I will be back... I'm taking two summer courses in the first session. Two psychology classes. That should be fun.
I'm still learning what blogging is all about. Right now, it seems more like a journal. Oh, well. Hopefully I can remember to keep up with it!
